The Guest Cottage

Casa a Rio Hondo is located on a large private estate just 15 minutes from Taos and 10 minutes from Taos Ski Valley. The Guest Cottage is perched on steel pilings surrounded by a grouping of 200 year old cottonwood trees. Jim and Jun like to surprise their guests with seasonal goodies. When you arrive you might find a fruit basket, a bottle of wine, fresh pastries, flowers or who knows?
The Guest Cottage is a non-smoking unit with accommodations outside for smoking. Fresh towels are provided daily, and clean linens are provided after 3 days.

Check-in is between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Late arrivals accepted with prior notice. Check-out is 10:00 am.
Reservations require a two day minimum, except when filling a vacant slot. Call us. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Reservations require a 50% deposit of the total booking, and must be received within 7 days of booking. Cash, Check, VISA or MasterCard are accepted.
We offer a free night on stays of more than 7 days.
Deposits for Holidays and Special Events are non-refundable.
Cancellations can be made up to 14 days in advance. In case of cancellation less than 14 days before arrival date, refund is made only if unit is re-booked. Guests are financially responsible for the entire confirmed reservation.
